The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albertino Caneças in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delmano Nascimento saved Toscano United from getting behind. Toscano United's Delmano Nascimento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Toscano United from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Toscano United's Miguel Almedia got a free kick in the 9th minute. 10 minutes into the match, Toscano United's goalkeeper Delmano Nascimento had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Pereira. In the 13th minute, Custódio Matta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Toscano United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Tadeu Lourenço struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Delmano Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Petro Atlético. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Toscano United's goalkeeper Delmano Nascimento, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edmundo Borges hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Custódio Matta in the 30th minute of play forced Petro Atlético's goalkeeper Neide Jacaré to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Custódio Matta to strike the kick off in the second half. If Pedro Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 57thth minute of the game Albertino Caneças who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Toscano United's Delmano Nascimento was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Albertino Caneças struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Delmano Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Petro Atlético. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Petro Atlético! The referee gave Toscano United a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eduardo Ganete, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Petro Atlético's Neide Jacaré. 3-2. In the 76th minute, Custódio Matta fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Neide Jacaré, passed just outside the right post. Custódio Matta succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-4 in the 80th playminute. Delmano Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertino Caneças, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. David Rochedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Delmano Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Petro Atlético fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when Petro Atlético's Albertino Caneças looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Custódio Matta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Neide Jacaré tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Toscano United succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Petro Atlético had controlled the match.
