Teodoro Amado was slow to take the kick. During this time Académica do Lobito's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Teodoro Amado almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Toscano United's Delmano Nascimento did a great save. After a rather tough play, Toscano United's Felíx Dos Santos got a free kick in the 12th minute. Humberto Suazo came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Delmano Nascimento could save by the left post. Académica do Lobito's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Teodoro Amado in the 14th minute. After taking down the ball on Académica do Lobito's corner Teodoro Amado fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Delmano Nascimento quite easily take care of the ball. With a little luck, Toscano United's Delmano Nascimento got control of the ball when Humberto Suazo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Toscano United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felíx Dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. Delmano Nascimento was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Humberto Suazo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Académica do Lobito's Humberto Suazo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Delmano Nascimento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Humberto Suazo struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Delmano Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Académica do Lobito. Académica do Lobito's supporters rose to their feet, but Louis Lumb was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmano Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Austen Waller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Custódio Matta in the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Humberto Suazo made a precise shot to the right of Delmano Nascimento. Toscano United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Humberto Suazo to strike the kick off in the second half. Toscano United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Humberto Suazo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. 62 minutes into the match, Académica do Lobito's Humberto Suazo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Delmano Nascimento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Humberto Suazo took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Delmano Nascimento. Delmano Nascimento dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. After some careless play in the Toscano United defense, Reynaldo Sena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Delmano Nascimento. The Toscano United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Delmano Nascimento should have stopped the shot. Felíx Dos Santos made in the 72nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Académica do Lobito's Samuel Lameiras. Delmano Nascimento came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Académica do Lobito's Humberto Suazo. But to his dismay, Humberto Suazo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. 83 minutes into the match, Académica do Lobito's Humberto Suazo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Delmano Nascimento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 84 minutes into the game, Académica do Lobito's Louis Lumb nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Delmano Nascimento made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Delmano Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Suazo, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Académica do Lobito fully deserved thier win.
