Gary Fortuin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jabu Zwane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Solly Ngake in the 15th minute of the match. Solly Ngake kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Daniel Koen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gary Fortuin in the 20th minute of the match. James Shongwe charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed James Shongwe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Langpoort getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. James Shongwe hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Solly Ngake in the 33rd minute of play forced Michu Stars United's goalkeeper Jabu Zwane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Solly Ngake received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jabu Zwane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andre Mabalane could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Daniel Koen made a huge save. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Langpoort's goalkeeper Daniel Koen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gary Fortuin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Daniel Koen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gary Fortuin to make the kick off. With a little luck, Michu Stars United's Jabu Zwane got control of the ball when Joseph Wanani tried to sneak it across the goal line. Andre Mabalane scored 2-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Daniel Koen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
