After having played for 13 minutes, Melusi Cassim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 15th match minute, FC Sebensa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Madolo Ntsume to maneuver through the defense. The FC KuLotshazi fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when FC KuLotshazi's Melusi Cassim looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Melusi Cassim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Pretorius having to interfere. Charles Pretorius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melusi Cassim in the 22nd minute of play. Melusi Cassim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th match minute, FC Sebensa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boyisani Steyn to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the match, FC Sebensa's goalkeeper Charles Pretorius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Wanani. Harry Dube hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute Themba Ntsume suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. When Boyisani Steyn fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Sebensa's protests and gave Boyisani Steyn a yellow card for diving instead. Melusi Cassim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute, Daniel Wanani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Wanani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Pretorius having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, FC Sebensa's goalkeeper Charles Pretorius had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Wanani. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 54thth minute of the game Daniel Wanani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Sebensa's Charles Pretorius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Aubrey Maduna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fuzile Tembe, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Madolo Ntsume during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, FC KuLotshazi's Harry Dube tried to score from far away in the 59th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Charles Pretorius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Wanani in the 60th minute of the match. If Daniel Wanani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harry Dube hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 72 minutes into the game, one of FC KuLotshazi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Daniel Wanani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Charles Pretorius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melusi Cassim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Wanani in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charles Pretorius saved FC Sebensa from getting behind. If Daniel Wanani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 minutes, Melusi Cassim mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC KuLotshazi and the FC Sebensa players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 96 played minutes FC KuLotshazi got a freekick which was hit by Melusi Cassim. There was no doubt that FC KuLotshazi were the better team. FC KuLotshazi's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
