Bradley Kanku sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bradley Kanku to make the kick off. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. Steve Dube showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bradley Kanku, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. An unexpected shot in the 87th minute by Edries Kanku got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Steve Dube stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bradley Kanku's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. The Kalkbank fans' excitement grew in the 97th match minute when Kalkbank's Brandon Fredericks looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Victory Beasts players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
