FC Povall's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tyrell Mfeke was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Lismore's Hlamane Webb tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ebrahim Mathibe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ismail Thembe having to interfere. 86 minutes into the game, Kenny Magagane cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Hlamane Webb was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lismore's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
