With his leg Freddie Kubheka managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Bengu's Vuyani Madima fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Tomas Melele managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bengu's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Melele was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Freddie Kubheka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Bengu's Alfred Fortuin got a free kick in the 59th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Jocob Strauss managed to get in a good position for a shot. The ball had pretty good speed, but Freddie Kubheka firmly grabbed it by the left post.
