Spectators: 6864 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1864, VIP seats: 0) Tunxe's Siyabonge Nauseb started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Darren Komani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rob Okpara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ZETONE were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Tunxe's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Johann Mkhize took the corner. After taking down the ball on ZETONE's corner Bradley Konza fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Darren Komani quite easily take care of the ball. Elias Machete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siyabonge Nauseb in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Rob Okpara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Darren Komani was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 17th minute Johann Mkhize shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darren Komani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Johann Mkhize ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Darren Komani was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Mpenza Macheke kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Darren Komani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rob Okpara in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute Shumani Mbule shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darren Komani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jabu Melele took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Darren Komani. Darren Komani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Darren Komani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rob Okpara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half ZETONE were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rob Okpara stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Shumani Mbule sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Shumani Mbule managed to get in a good position for a shot. ZETONE's supporters rose to their feet, but Shumani Mbule was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Darren Komani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th match minute, Tunxe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Harry Mokhasi to maneuver through the defense. Darren Komani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jabu Melele in the 60th minute. Simamane Thabang hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, Alfred Roberts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shumani Mbule recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Tunxe's goalkeeper Darren Komani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rob Okpara. Darren Komani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shumani Mbule, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rob Okpara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rob Okpara succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 78th playminute. Bradley Konza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darren Komani having to interfere. Elias Machete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siyabonge Nauseb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee felt a red card was in order, 85 minutes into the game, when Charles Nomvete put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 85th minute of the game. One of Tunxe:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ZETONE:s goal. Rob Okpara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shumani Mbule was extremely unlucky when he, in the 95th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the final whistle sounded ZETONE left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Tunxe.
