Spectators: 6851 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1851, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Harry Kolwa started the match with the kick off. Rob Sephadi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Macheke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Meshack Strauss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Siyabonge Nauseb might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rob Sephadi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Siyabonge Nauseb ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mpenza Macheke during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC Stilbaai booed when Tunxe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mpenza Macheke didn't get a good kick on the ball. Harry Kolwa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 17 played minutes FC Stilbaai got a freekick which was hit by Rob Mbheki. Siyabonge Nauseb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rob Sephadi having to interfere. If Siyabonge Nauseb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Meshack Strauss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Basil Etafia might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rob Sephadi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Basil Etafia ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in FC Stilbaai's zone, Siyabonge Nauseb stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rob Sephadi came out of the goal and Siyabonge Nauseb tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Meshack Strauss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 minutes of play, FC Stilbaai's Meshack Strauss made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Darren Komani was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Siyabonge Nauseb made the kick off in the second half. If Siyabonge Nauseb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute, Siyabonge Nauseb got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Basil Etafia got free with Rob Sephadi in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 70 minutes into the match, Siyabonge Nauseb dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rob Sephadi, 2-2. In the 74th minute, Jocob Ngake hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Siyabonge Nauseb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Rob Sephadi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lebang Bandura's late challenge caught a Tunxe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lebang Bandura helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Stilbaai getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Lebang Bandura hit a great ball. When Alfred Roberts fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tunxe's protests and gave Alfred Roberts a yellow card for diving instead. If Harry Kolwa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rob Sephadi made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Basil Etafia sent off a good shot on target. 91 minutes into the match, FC Stilbaai's goalkeeper Rob Sephadi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Basil Etafia. Darren Komani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Meshack Strauss in the 97th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
