The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jakob Mncube didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 31st minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. If Hans Hoffhuis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. Timoteo Abel had in the 50thth minute some difficulties stopping Maluleke Pretorius's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.

After 59 minutes of play, FC Masobohleng's Sanjay Mahlangu made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Timoteo Abel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Timoteo Abel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sanjay Mahlangu, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. With an all-out effort, FC Masobohleng's Timoteo Abel threw himself towards the right post 95 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sanjay Mahlangu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hans Hoffhuis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakob Mncube having to interfere. SV Transvaal walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
