Spectators: 6841 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sanjay Mahlangu took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute Maxwell Modipa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jakob Mncube saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nkosi Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakob Mncube having to interfere. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Mushane's goalkeeper Lungie Nhlapo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Maxwell Modipa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Jakob Mncube tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FC Mushane getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Jikolo Thwala hit a great ball. A collision led to FC Masobohleng getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Maluleke Pretorius hit a great ball. FC Mushane's Boyisana Mncube couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Masobohleng. In the 21st match minute, FC Masobohleng was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lungie Madiya to maneuver through the defense. Lungie Nhlapo came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Masobohleng's Sanjay Mahlangu. But to his dismay, Sanjay Mahlangu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Maxwell Modipa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jakob Mncube having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Boyisana Mabalane notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Masobohleng's Jakob Mncube. Jakob Mncube was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sanjay Mahlangu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lungie Nhlapo having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maxwell Modipa was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Nkosi Nunes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Mushane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nkosi Nunes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maxwell Modipa in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jakob Mncube saved FC Masobohleng from getting behind. In the 55th match minute, FC Masobohleng was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patrice King to maneuver through the defense. Jakob Mncube showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nkosi Nunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Masobohleng's Lungie Madiya got a free kick in the 57th minute. Jakob Mncube showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxwell Modipa in the 60th minute of the match. FC Mushane's Lungie Nhlapo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sanjay Mahlangu in the 62nd minute of play. Jakob Mncube showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxwell Modipa in the 64th minute of the match. Boyisana Mabalane charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Boyisana Mabalane the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th minute, Boyisana Mabalane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Boyisana Mncube took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 77th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jakob Mncube. FC Masobohleng's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nkosi Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 84th minute, Madolo Etafia had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Boyisana Mncube's late challenge caught a FC Masobohleng's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boyisana Mncube helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th match minute, FC Mushane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boyisana Mncube to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute, Sam Takane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Mushane's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Boyisana Mncube in the 91st minute. The corner led FC Mushane's Boyisana Mncube to fire away a dangerous shot which Jakob Mncube despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 93rdth minute of the game Nkosi Nunes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Masobohleng's Jakob Mncube was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 94th match minute, FC Masobohleng was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Solly Maduna to maneuver through the defense. When Maxwell Modipa came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the FC Mushane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maxwell Modipa couldn't finish the play. FC Mushane's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
