When SV Transvaal's Hans Hoffhuis in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 34 minutes, Themba Etafia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nuweland and the SV Transvaal players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 34 played minutes Nuweland got a freekick which was hit by Themba Etafia. In the 35th minute, Hans Hoffhuis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Boyisana Qabi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans Hoffhuis in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boyisana Qabi saved Nuweland from getting behind. If Jomo Phakathi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Hans Hoffhuis sped through Nuweland's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Boyisana Qabi. In the 46th minute Hans Hoffhuis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boyisana Qabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Johannes Sephiri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sanjay Thabang was the one to do the kick off. In the 67th minute Themba Etafia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Timoteo Abel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nuweland's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hans Hoffhuis 69 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-7. Hans Hoffhuis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jomo Phakathi might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Boyisana Qabi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jomo Phakathi ran back to his position shaking his head. When SV Transvaal's Hans Hoffhuis in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nuweland's goalie prevented a goal. Hans Hoffhuis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Boyisana Qabi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. When Nicolas Nauseb came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the SV Transvaal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicolas Nauseb couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as SV Transvaal's Hans Hoffhuis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Boyisana Qabi. That made the score 0-8 after 82 minutes of play. Thami Klaasens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Boyisana Qabi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87thth minute of the game Hans Hoffhuis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nuweland's Boyisana Qabi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute of the match, Hans Hoffhuis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Boyisana Qabi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match was over SV Transvaal could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nuweland throughout the match.
