The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maxwell Ntsume during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Lilyvale booed when FC Sixhotyeni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxwell Ntsume didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rob Wanani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lungie Sewele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rob Wanani in the 53rd minute of the match. Rabelani Setlaba kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If Rob Wanani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC Sixhotyeni booed when Lilyvale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lilyvale walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
