A very good chance. hidden leaf's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Leon Okpara scored to the left of an out of position Basil Melele, making the score, 1-0. Freddie Konza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Basil Melele came out and tried to block the shot, but Freddie Konza slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 20th minute. 23 minutes into the game, hidden leaf's Justice Thebe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Anton Arendse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Basil Melele made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Nelson Zwane sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Freddie Konza could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Basil Melele however easily saved by the left post. Basil Melele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Okpara, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Basil Melele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Okpara in the 40th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, hidden leaf's goalkeeper Basil Melele had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Freddie Konza. In the 47th minute Leon Okpara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basil Melele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernard Sono to strike the kick off in the second half. Kingston Bandura kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Okpara in the 57th minute of play forced hidden leaf's goalkeeper Basil Melele to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, hidden leaf's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Okpara came free, but Basil Melele reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, hidden leaf's Justice Thebe got a free kick in the 59th minute. Anton Arendse came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by hidden leaf's Andre Takane. But to his dismay, Andre Takane quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Andre Takane put it in 3-3 from a short distance just to the right of Anton Arendse. 76 minutes into the match, Parow Utd's goalkeeper Anton Arendse had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andre Takane. Basil Melele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelson Zwane, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
