Shumani Fredericks recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hoadley Arendse didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nkosi Sono went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Nkosi Sono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Patel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hoadley Arendse having to make a save. In the 28th match minute, FC Maqwatini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bongi Thompson to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Nkosi Sono managed to get in a good position for a shot. Klipgat's supporters rose to their feet, but Nkosi Sono was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hoadley Arendse breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 31 minutes into the game, Klipgat's Nkosi Sono nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hoadley Arendse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 34th minute, Nkosi Sono got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Daniel Patel in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hoadley Arendse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 38 minutes into the game, Klipgat's Nkosi Sono nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hoadley Arendse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Hoadley Arendse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Patel in the 41st minute of the match. Daniel Patel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hoadley Arendse having to interfere. The FC Maqwatini players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Klipgat were winning 0-3.

If Thabo Thokozani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Klipgat booed when FC Maqwatini was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henry Patel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hoadley Arendse was a little too slow when Nkosi Sono got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 0-4. Maxwell Mabalane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute, Klipgat's Daniel Patel ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hoadley Arendse. Hoadley Arendse yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. 71 minutes into the match, FC Maqwatini's goalkeeper Hoadley Arendse had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shumani Fredericks. Thabo Thokozani hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. When Tomas Mayoyo came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the FC Maqwatini fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Mayoyo couldn't finish the play. If Daniel Patel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nkosi Sono in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hoadley Arendse prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Patel struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Hoadley Arendse didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Klipgat. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Maqwatini's goalkeeper Hoadley Arendse, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mawetu Mufadi kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. After having played for 96 minutes, Daniel Patel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Klipgat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Patel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Klipgat played a much better game than FC Maqwatini and deserved their victory. The FC Maqwatini players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
