Spectators: 8467 (Terracing: 6351, Seating: 1947, VIP seats: 169) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Francis Mumede took the kick off in the first half of the match. A collision led to Aitch FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Elias Serage hit a great ball. Thami Dube received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Hassan Thembe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 6 minutes into the game, Mpho Radebe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aitch FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liverpool FC the free kick. In the 5th minute, one of Aitch FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aitch FC. After 11 played minutes Aitch FC got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Strauss. Thami Dube's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 15thth minute, Hassan Thembe skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Francis Mumede sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aitch FC's Francis Mumede got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Solly Dube kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. If Ivan Strauss had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lungie Shoba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Musa Maduna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liverpool FC's Musa Maduna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lungie Shoba in the 39th minute of play. Liverpool FC's Shakeel Nauseb got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Shakeel Nauseb made a kick off. 60 minutes into the game, Francis Mumede recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Musa Maduna. Francis Mumede showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Hassan Thembe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thami Dube in the 67th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Aitch FC's Tomas Phakathi got a free kick in the 72nd minute. If Thami Dube had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 75 minutes into the match, Aitch FC's goal looked a bit too open when Shakeel Nauseb came free, but Hassan Thembe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nelson Manyethela hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Shakeel Nauseb blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hassan Thembe having to make a save. In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Liverpool FC. Jason Vanker stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hassan Thembe. 2-1. Thami Dube received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Hassan Thembe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thami Dube scored 3-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hassan Thembe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute, Ivan Strauss got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Shakeel Nauseb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Liverpool FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Aitch FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
