Lindo Stoltz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Liau, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 21st match minute, FC Kapilaan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Serage to maneuver through the defense. The FC Kapilaan fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when FC Kapilaan's Albert Thokozani looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rabelani Khumalo came out of the goal and Ismail Strauss tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. But to his dismay, Lindo Strauss quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Ismail Strauss's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rabelani Khumalo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. FC Kapilaan walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
