The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Noxolo Patel to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in FC Zimbane's zone, Thanyani Madima stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mpho Qabi came out of the goal and Thanyani Madima tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 54 minutes into the match, FC Zimbane's goal looked a bit too open when Noxolo Patel came free, but Mpho Qabi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Hlamane Mkhize hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brandon Sewele received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Aubrey Webb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Zimbane were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC YamYam for a fine match.
