In the 19th match minute, FC Ngwara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rob Thwala to maneuver through the defense. If Daniel Mumede had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Wepener's Daniel Mumede got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oliver Zwane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jonas King tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Oliver Zwane's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonas King was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. In the 46th minute Oliver Zwane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas King saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oliver Zwane to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Dean Mhlathe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Wepener's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Ngwara the free kick. After 53 played minutes FC Wepener got a freekick which was hit by Dean Mhlathe. 55 minutes into the match, FC Wepener's goal looked a bit too open when Mathibela Mfeke came free, but Dumisane Webb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Wepener's Jonas Tau got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 62 played minutes FC Ngwara got a freekick which was hit by Rob Thwala. FC Wepener's Bomikaze Shoba couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Ngwara. In the 80th minute, Mathibela Mfeke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Ngwara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oliver Zwane in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonas King prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alex Mkhize hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Jonas King showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oliver Zwane in the 93rd minute of the match. Jonas King made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Mumede in the 96th minute. FC Ngwara were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Wepener for a fine match.
