Spectators: 6947 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1947, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mathibela Mfeke took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd match minute, Pink saints was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornell Smith to maneuver through the defense. After 5 minutes, James Mandla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pink saints and the FC Ngwara players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Pink saints getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. James Mandla hit a great ball. In the 6th minute, Tyrell Inguana sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pink saints's Henry Kolwa didn't even have to move. When Mathibela Mfeke came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the FC Ngwara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathibela Mfeke couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Pink saints getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Cornell Smith hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Bomikaze Mufumadi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pink saints's supporters rose to their feet, but Bomikaze Mufumadi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonas King breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Pink saints's Cornell Smith got a free kick in the 18th minute. Henry Kolwa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sipho Qabi in the 21st minute. In the 24th match minute, Pink saints was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sibongile Edwards to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Cornell Smith hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, FC Ngwara's goal looked a bit too open when Bomikaze Mufumadi came free, but Jonas King reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, Bomikaze Mufumadi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pink saints's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bomikaze Mufumadi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alex Zwane kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Ngwara's Alex Zwane got a free kick in the 36th minute. In the 37th minute, Etienne Sono sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Ngwara's Jonas King didn't even have to move. In the 40th minute, Etienne Sono hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, Tyrell Inguana sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pink saints's Henry Kolwa didn't even have to move. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bomikaze Mufumadi made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, FC Ngwara's goalkeeper Jonas King had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hassan Fortuin. 58 minutes into the match, Pink saints's Bomikaze Mufumadi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonas King narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Sipho Qabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hassan Fortuin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Ngwara's goalkeeper Jonas King, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 67th minute, one of FC Ngwara:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Ngwara. Jonas King was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bomikaze Mufumadi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 73 minute of play. Bomikaze Mufumadi charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bomikaze Mufumadi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Ngwara booed when Pink saints was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bomikaze Mufumadi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Mathibela Mfeke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Bomikaze Mufumadi came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Pink saints fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bomikaze Mufumadi couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in FC Ngwara's zone, Hassan Fortuin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas King came out of the goal and Hassan Fortuin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Pink saints's Bomikaze Mufumadi in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Ngwara's goalie prevented a goal. Mathibela Mfeke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henry Kolwa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Sipho Qabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Henry Kolwa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Pink saints players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
