Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC Wepener's Daniel Mumede got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oliver Zwane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Liau in the 14th minute of play forced FC Wepener's goalkeeper Dumisane Webb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dumisane Kings short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Dumisane Webb to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dean Mhlathe charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dean Mhlathe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dean Mhlathe hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Evutha's Charles Liau got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dumisane King sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dumisane King recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Evutha's Charles Liau in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Wepener's goalie prevented a goal. In the 27th minute, Charles Liau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evutha's Charles Liau was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 31st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Charles Liau took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Dumisane Webb to make any attempt to save it. After 38 minutes, Dumisane King made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. FC Wepener's Dumisane Webb tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Dumisane Webb made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Dumisane King sent off a good shot on target. Charles Liau struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Dumisane Webb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Evutha. The audience was convinced that Daniel Mumede's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rabelani Khumalo was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Charles Liau made a kick off. In the 56th minute of the match Evutha got a corner. FC Wepener's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Melusi Qabi ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Melusi Qabi almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Wepener's Dumisane Webb did a great save. FC Wepener's Dumisane Webb played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Liau in the 62nd minute of play. The Evutha fans' excitement grew in the 63rd match minute when Evutha's Dumisane King looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 66 played minutes FC Wepener got a freekick which was hit by Dean Mhlathe. If Charles Liau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Mumede could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Rabelani Khumalo made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Evutha's Meshack Tau got a free kick in the 77th minute. When Charles Liau came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Evutha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Charles Liau couldn't finish the play. Tebogo Sephiri hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Daniel Mumede blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rabelani Khumalo having to make a save. Dumisane King fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dumisane Webb having to interfere.
