When Soutpomp AFC's Jikolo Inguana in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Aubrey Tau blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sipho Miti having to make a save. Jikolo Inguana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 47 minutes into the game, Aubrey Tau cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Sipho Miti was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Godfrey Nunes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sibongile Madima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the game, Etienne Fortuin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soutpomp AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DESTROYERS FC the free kick. Etienne Fortuin kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Godfrey Nunes came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by DESTROYERS FC's Tyrell Ngake. But to his dismay, Tyrell Ngake quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Aubrey Tau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soutpomp AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aubrey Tau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sipho Miti breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
