Godfrey Nunes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wycliffe Madiya in the 26th minute. 30 minutes into the match, ZA Red Devil MZ-eSports's goal looked a bit too open when Jikolo Inguana came free, but Andre Mahlangu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Justice Konza charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Justice Konza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to ZA Red Devil MZ-eSports getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. In the 41st match minute, Soutpomp AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hoadley Mncube to maneuver through the defense. If Wycliffe Madiya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The wind increased when Jikolo Inguana made the kick off in the second half. If Wycliffe Madiya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. Soutpomp AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wycliffe Madiya was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. 83 minutes into the match, Soutpomp AFC's Etienne Fortuin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andre Mahlangu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siphokazi Fredericks in the 88th minute of play forced Soutpomp AFC's goalkeeper Godfrey Nunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Siphokazi Fredericks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
