First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Tomas Webb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andre Mahlangu having to interfere. Simamane Dinha kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. In the 49th minute Siphokazi Fredericks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Soloman Wanani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Webb was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of ZA Red Devil MZ-eSports booed when FC Catalina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Webb didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Alpheus Maduna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute, Siphokazi Fredericks ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Soloman Wanani was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. If Tomas Webb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute.
