The score was now 1-0. After 8 played minutes Bikana got a freekick which was hit by Silas Laher. If Silas Laher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeff Okpara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismail Okpara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Ismail Okpara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeff Okpara was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Jeff Okpara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismail Okpara, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Tebogo Mhlathe succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 37th playminute. 45 minutes into the match, Umzumbe's goal looked a bit too open when Steve Modise came free, but Norman Qabi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Silas Laher managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bikana's supporters rose to their feet, but Silas Laher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norman Qabi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeff Okpara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismail Okpara in the 60th minute of play. Jeff Okpara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tebogo Mhlathe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeff Okpara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ismail Okpara's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. In the 63rd match minute, Bikana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aubrey Mathibe to maneuver through the defense. After 68 minutes of play, Umzumbe's Tebogo Mhlathe made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeff Okpara was left in no man's land by his defense there! Steve Modise charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Steve Modise the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 72nd minute, Steve Modise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Steve Modise had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Bikana players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Umzumbe.
