Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nicholas Setlaba started the match with the kick off. If Rafael Machete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mando Bartlett struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Mathibela Dinha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Isabel. Mathibela Dinha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mando Bartlett, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. FC Lutha's Mathibela Dinha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mando Bartlett in the 9th minute of play. After 11 played minutes FC Lutha got a freekick which was hit by Promise Thobejane. Mpenza Mumede hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Mathibela Dinha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Machete in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mando Bartlett in the 22nd minute of play forced FC Lutha's goalkeeper Mathibela Dinha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rafael Machete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathibela Dinha having to interfere. Sibongile Shongwe kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. FC Lutha's Nkosi Modise got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Lutha's Nkosi Modise suffered a concussion after 40 minutes and had to leave the field. Lebang Sephiri's late challenge caught a FC Lutha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lebang Sephiri helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, FC Isabel's Lebang Sephiri got a free kick in the 41st minute.

51 minutes into the match, FC Lutha's goal looked a bit too open when Mando Bartlett came free, but Mathibela Dinha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mando Bartlett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mpho Thembe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Terence Kolwa having to make a save. The supporters of FC Isabel booed when FC Lutha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicholas Setlaba didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th minute, Simamane Thwala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sibongile Shongwe kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. The FC Isabel fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when FC Isabel's Rafael Machete looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Rafael Machete fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathibela Dinha having to interfere. Rafael Machete recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Lutha's Mathibela Dinha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Machete in the 96th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
