After a rather tough play, Bloemspruit's Timothy Radebe got a free kick in the 25th minute. Simamane Madima kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Mabusela Kerns kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The Bloemspruit fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Bloemspruit's Dumisane Cassim looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Dumisane Cassim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Siyabonge Ntsume made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dumisane Cassim in the 38th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jikolo Qabi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Papi Melele got free with Mthunzi Maduna in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 58 minutes into the match, Ihluku's goal looked a bit too open when Dumisane Cassim came free, but Siyabonge Ntsume reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Siyabonge Ntsume made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dumisane Cassim in the 59th minute of play. Mthunzi Maduna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jikolo Qabi in the 62nd minute of the match. Siyabonge Ntsume took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dumisane Cassim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Papi Meleles short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Mthunzi Maduna to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Themba Mangope managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ihluku's supporters rose to their feet, but Themba Mangope was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mthunzi Maduna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dumisane Cassim in the 75th minute of play forced Ihluku's goalkeeper Siyabonge Ntsume to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jikolo Qabi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ebrahim Madiya in the 82nd minute of play forced Ihluku's goalkeeper Siyabonge Ntsume to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bloemspruit's Dumisane Cassim got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute Dumisane Cassim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siyabonge Ntsume saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mthunzi Maduna was out of position in the 92 minute of play, and Jikolo Qabi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jikolo Qabi really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
