Charles Kanku sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Michael Sephadi struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Bradley Qabi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Ruitersbos. Bradley Qabi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hlamane Mahlangu in the 20th minute of the match. The referee gave FC Ruitersbos a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Tebogo Mkhwanazi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of FC Masters's Bradley Qabi. 0-1. Elias Roberts kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match Tebogo Mkhwanazi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bradley Qabi skillfully saved the ball. Michael Sephadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bradley Qabi having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hlamane Mahlangu was the one to do the kick off. When Jomo Mufumadi came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the FC Masters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jomo Mufumadi couldn't finish the play. Bradley Qabi came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Ruitersbos's Michael Sephadi. But to his dismay, Michael Sephadi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 75 minutes into the match, FC Ruitersbos's Michael Sephadi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bradley Qabi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Hlamane Mahlangu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82nd minute Jomo Mufumadi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rob Ntsume saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Milton King in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rob Ntsume saved FC Ruitersbos from getting behind. FC Ruitersbos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
