Spectators: 8304 (Terracing: 6300, Seating: 1944, VIP seats: 60) In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind BARKING BEARS's goalkeeper Jabu Khomane, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Madolo Mandela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henry Webb in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michael King saved Sebayeng from getting behind. Rabelani Machete hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Sebayeng's Alpheus Mothobi tried to score from far away in the 20th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Madolo Mandela took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jabu Khomane. Jabu Khomane dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 27 minutes, Leslie Okpara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BARKING BEARS and the Sebayeng players grew even worse after the yellow card. Leslie Okpara kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Alpheus Mothobi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jabu Khomane. BARKING BEARS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, BARKING BEARS's goal looked a bit too open when Madolo Mandela came free, but Jabu Khomane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebayeng's Michael King played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Webb in the 31st minute of play. Jabu Khomane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Madolo Mandela in the 37th minute of the match. Jabu Khomane stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Madolo Mandela's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Brandon Mufadi might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jabu Khomane. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brandon Mufadi ran back to his position shaking his head. After 44 minutes, Rabelani Machete mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BARKING BEARS and the Sebayeng players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rabelani Machete kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Madolo Mandela in the 47th minute of play forced BARKING BEARS's goalkeeper Jabu Khomane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Sebayeng were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Madolo Mandela was the one to do the kick off. If Meshack Bartlett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Sebayeng's Madolo Mandela dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Sebayeng's Madolo Mandela got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jabu Khomane made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brandon Mufadi in the 72nd minute. When Brandon Mufadi came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Sebayeng fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brandon Mufadi couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Sebayeng's Madolo Mandela slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jabu Khomane. That made the score 0-4 after 79 minutes of play. Henry Webb fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael King having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sebayeng's Samuel Mkhize got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After 94 played minutes BARKING BEARS got a freekick which was hit by Alpheus Josephs. When the match was over Sebayeng could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than BARKING BEARS throughout the match.
