FC Mpangane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kingston Collins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FC Mpangane's Leon Inguana got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kingston Collins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leon Inguana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gordon Thobejane having to interfere. After some careless play in the ⚽Only Known To God⚽ defense, Kingston Collins kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gordon Thobejane. The ⚽Only Known To God⚽ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gordon Thobejane should have stopped the shot. Mabusela Radebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nkosi Klaasens, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 48th minute, Kingston Collins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kingston Collins to make the kick off. Gordon Thobejane made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kingston Collins in the 57th minute of play.
