Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nicolas Phakathi started the match with the kick off. Leon Inguana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nkosi Mafuna having to interfere. Henry Magagane hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. After 9 played minutes, Susterstroom's Noxolo Maduna shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mabusela Radebe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Susterstroom reached it. After 11 played minutes FC Mpangane got a freekick which was hit by Cornell Liau. Tyrell Mufadi kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Rabelani Nkadimeng hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Nicolas Phakathi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mabusela Radebe having to make a save. The supporters of FC Mpangane booed when Susterstroom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfrey Mufadi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kingston Lekgwathi struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Mabusela Radebe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Susterstroom. 34 minutes into the match, FC Mpangane's goalkeeper Mabusela Radebe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kingston Lekgwathi. Cornell Liau kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Mabusela Radebe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kingston Lekgwathi in the 44th minute. 49 minutes into the match, FC Mpangane's goal looked a bit too open when Nicolas Phakathi came free, but Mabusela Radebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kingston Collins to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in FC Mpangane's zone, Kingston Lekgwathi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mabusela Radebe came out of the goal and Kingston Lekgwathi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kingston Lekgwathi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Mabusela Radebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Susterstroom's Nicolas Phakathi in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Mpangane's goalie prevented a goal. Kingston Lekgwathi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mabusela Radebe having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Susterstroom's Kingston Lekgwathi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mabusela Radebe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 73 minutes into the game, Rabelani Nkadimeng was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Mpangane's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Susterstroom the free kick. A collision led to FC Mpangane getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Rabelani Nkadimeng hit a great ball. Raymond Machete took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mabusela Radebe. FC Mpangane's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Kingston Collins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Nkosi Mafuna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mabusela Radebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kingston Lekgwathi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th match minute, FC Mpangane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rabelani Nkadimeng to maneuver through the defense. Mabusela Radebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Phakathi in the 80th minute of the match. Mabusela Radebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddie Mufadi, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Raymond Machete took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mabusela Radebe. FC Mpangane's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Susterstroom walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
