With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kingston Lekgwathi in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gordon Thobejane saved ⚽Only Known To God⚽ from getting behind. Freddie Mufadi's late challenge caught a ⚽Only Known To God⚽'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Freddie Mufadi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ⚽Only Known To God⚽ booed when Susterstroom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. If Kingston Lekgwathi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute Kingston Lekgwathi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gordon Thobejane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Hoadley Mhlongo made the kick off in the second half. Kingston Lekgwathi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gordon Thobejane was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Nicolas Phakathi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gordon Thobejane, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Nicolas Phakathi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gordon Thobejane came out and tried to block the shot, but Nicolas Phakathi slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 81st minute. In the 86th minute, Kingston Lekgwathi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gordon Thobejane was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hoadley Mhlongo in the 91st minute of play forced Susterstroom's goalkeeper Nkosi Mafuna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Susterstroom's Kingston Lekgwathi got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicolas Phakathi did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-6 to the left of a surprised Gordon Thobejane 94 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Susterstroom left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than ⚽Only Known To God⚽.
