Seating: 1938, VIP seats: 5) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Legako Sephiri made the kick off which started today's match. Bongi Magagane hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute Shumani Klein shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jafta Mabele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jafta Mabele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cornell Mfeke, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 16th minute, Legako Sephiri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jafta Mabele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cornell Mfeke in the 19th minute of the match. Papi Radebe took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jafta Mabele. Jafta Mabele dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jafta Mabele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shumani Klein, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 29 minutes, John Sephadi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Mkemane and the Buffelshoek players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, John Sephadi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Buffelshoek's Cornell Mfeke got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mthunzi Sibeko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Legako Sephiri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yacoob Takane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Cornell Mfeke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Buffelshoek fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Cornell Mfeke took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Jafta Mabele to make any attempt to save it. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Shumani Klein managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buffelshoek's supporters rose to their feet, but Shumani Klein was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jafta Mabele breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jafta Mabele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornell Mfeke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yacoob Takane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mthunzi Sibeko in the 62nd minute of the match. Albert Mandla might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jafta Mabele. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albert Mandla ran back to his position shaking his head. If Mthunzi Sibeko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Buffelshoek's Yacoob Takane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mthunzi Sibeko in the 71st minute of play. Edries Nunes hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. If Legako Sephiri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Albert Mabele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 81 minutes, Shakeel Laher mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Mkemane and the Buffelshoek players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes FC Mkemane got a freekick which was hit by Shakeel Laher. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Buffelshoek had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
