The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bongi Mabele showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Rob Mandla kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. If William Sephadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 23 minutes into the match, Santos FC Cape Town's goal looked a bit too open when Júnior Donatello came free, but Hlamane Mandela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júnior Donatello in the 25th minute of play forced Santos FC Cape Town's goalkeeper Hlamane Mandela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Santos FC Cape Town's goalkeeper Hlamane Mandela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Milton Mokatimi. Bongi Mabele showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rob Mandla, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Bongi Mabele was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rob Mandla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Milton Mokatimi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rob Mandla struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Bongi Mabele didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santos FC Cape Town. In the 61st minute, Júnior Donatello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júnior Donatello in the 63rd minute of play forced Santos FC Cape Town's goalkeeper Hlamane Mandela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Júnior Donatello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agent 007's supporters rose to their feet, but Júnior Donatello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hlamane Mandela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Brandon Modipa was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 79 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, one of Santos FC Cape Town:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Santos FC Cape Town. The referee gave Agent 007 a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cornell Tau, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Santos FC Cape Town's Hlamane Mandela. 2-2. Hlamane Mandela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júnior Donatello in the 85th minute of the match. Hlamane Mandela came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Agent 007's Júnior Donatello. But to his dismay, Júnior Donatello quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornell Tau in the 92nd minute of play forced Santos FC Cape Town's goalkeeper Hlamane Mandela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Santos FC Cape Town players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Agent 007.
