Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Bongi Stoltz made the kick off which started today's match. Promise Wanani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Sam Komani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Peninghotsa's Mpenza Tshabalala got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 25th minute, Promise Wanani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 28 minutes into the game, Norman Tshabalala was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uluxa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peninghotsa the free kick. In the 28th minute, Norman Tshabalala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Uluxa's goalkeeper Sam Komani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Promise Wanani. Uluxa's Sam Komani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bongi Stoltz in the 31st minute of play. Mabusela Makweni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute Mabusela Makweni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mthunzi Madima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Peninghotsa's goal looked a bit too open when Mabusela Makweni came free, but Mthunzi Madima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Promise Wanani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Sam Komani made a huge save. In the 45th minute Uluxa were awarded a corner. Norman Tshabalala went to the cornerflag to take it. Norman Tshabalala made a great header on Uluxa's corner, it was just that Peninghotsa's Mthunzi Madima managed to reach the ball for a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Peninghotsa's Thami Josephs slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sam Komani. That made the score 1-0 after 47 minutes of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mathibela King made a kick off. Sam Komani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Promise Wanani's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute Promise Wanani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sam Komani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Peninghotsa's Mpenza Tshabalala got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 76th match minute, Uluxa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Mothobi to maneuver through the defense. Bongi Stoltz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 80 minutes, Musa Arendse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uluxa and the Peninghotsa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th match minute, Uluxa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Musa Arendse to maneuver through the defense. Mabusela Makweni scored 1-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mthunzi Madima, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jakob Modise charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jakob Modise the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sam Komani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bongi Stoltz, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Promise Wanani in the 97th minute of play forced Uluxa's goalkeeper Sam Komani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Uluxa players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
