Jomo Dinha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sanjay Laher in the 29th minute of the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Papi Kanku managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dalibba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Papi Kanku was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fuzile Mbule took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomas Dinha. Tomas Dinha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Sanjay Laher's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jomo Dinha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edries Steyn in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tomas Dinha saved Dalibba from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd match minute, Leeudrif was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leslie Laher to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Dinha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fuzile Mbule, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 played minutes Dalibba got a freekick which was hit by Mathibela Mangope. A collision led to Dalibba getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Legako Mhlongo hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Tomas Dinha successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Fuzile Mbule had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mathibela Mangope's late challenge caught a Leeudrif's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mathibela Mangope helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th minute, Mathibela Mangope hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Dinha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edries Steyn went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 80 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dalibba! The goalkeeper, Tomas Dinha, was totally fooled by Leeudrif's Thabo Steyn, who 82 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 85 minutes into the match, Papi Kanku notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Leeudrif's Jomo Dinha. Jomo Dinha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fuzile Mbule in the 90th minute of play forced Dalibba's goalkeeper Tomas Dinha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
