Mariusz Lewicki made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Nelson Nkadimeng sent off a good shot on target. After 10 minutes, Takalani Mbule made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Motolong's Stanton Mandla tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 13 played minutes Motolong got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Phakathi. A collision led to Eiffel getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Siphokazi Madiba hit a great ball. 20 minutes into the match, Eiffel's goalkeeper Mariusz Lewicki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jomo Mabele. Mariusz Lewicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gary Josephs in the 22nd minute of play. A collision led to Eiffel getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ebrahim Miti hit a great ball. The Eiffel fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Eiffel's Takalani Mbule looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Motolong booed when Eiffel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Takalani Tau didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 35 minutes of play, Eiffel's Takalani Mbule made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stanton Mandla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Eiffel's Mariusz Lewicki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Eiffel from getting a goal against them. Mariusz Lewicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Edwards in the 47th minute of play. The Motolong players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Eiffel were winning 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Muzaffer Gagauz was the one to do the kick off. Muzaffer Gagauz might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stanton Mandla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Muzaffer Gagauz ran back to his position shaking his head. Muzaffer Gagauz struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Stanton Mandla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eiffel. Stanton Mandla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Muzaffer Gagauz, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Muzaffer Gagauz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stanton Mandla having to interfere. Eiffel's attentive Terence Madiya managed to snatch the ball when Rob Makweni made a throw-in in the 65th minute of the game. The supporters of Eiffel booed when Motolong was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Phakathi didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Terence Madiya in the 66th minute of play forced Motolong's goalkeeper Stanton Mandla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariusz Lewicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Edwards in the 69th minute of play. Takalani Mbule received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Stanton Mandla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eric Tshabalala kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Gary Josephs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rob Makweni hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. 81 minutes into the match, Takalani Mbule had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Stanton Mandla. Motolong's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Takalani Mbule was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Muzaffer Gagauz might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stanton Mandla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Muzaffer Gagauz ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Gary Josephs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Motolong's supporters rose to their feet, but Gary Josephs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mariusz Lewicki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mariusz Lewicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Charles Edwards, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Alex Magagane kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Stanton Mandla came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Eiffel's Muzaffer Gagauz. But to his dismay, Muzaffer Gagauz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. The Motolong manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Eiffel to win.
