The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Terence Thompson to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johannes Pretorius in the 54th minute of play forced Wild Elephants's goalkeeper Legako Qabi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johannes Pretorius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Legako Qabi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. After 65 minutes of play, QwaningA's Nazeer Tshabalala made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Legako Qabi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bongi Edwards kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the game, Terence Thompson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wild Elephants's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave QwaningA the free kick. After 73 played minutes Wild Elephants got a freekick which was hit by Terence Thompson. Johannes Pretorius scored 4-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Legako Qabi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 96th minute Niek Scheffer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Legako Qabi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. QwaningA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
