Spectators: 8100 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rob Maduna took the kick off in the first half of the match. Steve Mncube made in the 3rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Atlantis FC's Johannes Nauseb. In the 5th minute Rob Maduna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phillip Mkhize saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Atlantis FC's Ivan Serage sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Phillip Mkhize narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 8 minutes, Rob Maduna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlantis FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rob Maduna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rob Maduna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phillip Mkhize having to interfere. Rob Maduna blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Phillip Mkhize having to make a save. A hard shot 17 in the game by Rob Maduna from a close distance when the talented Phillip Mkhize managed to make a qualified save. Skull Breakers's players were relieved. Atlantis FC's Rob Maduna got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Skull Breakers's Sanjay Macheke got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute of the match Rob Maduna sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Phillip Mkhize skillfully saved the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Skull Breakers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Meshack Lekgwathi to maneuver through the defense. When Rob Maduna came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Atlantis FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rob Maduna couldn't finish the play. Samuel Thebe hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. If Meshack Mangope had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sanjay Macheke hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. A collision led to Atlantis FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Johannes Nauseb hit a great ball. Mpenza Collins took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edries Mayoyo. Edries Mayoyo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mpenza Collins made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Atlantis FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ebrahim Sephadi fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Atlantis FC's Edries Mayoyo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Atlantis FC from getting a goal against them. In the 59th minute, Mpenza Collins reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edries Mayoyo. The goal made the score 0-2. Atlantis FC's Rob Maduna got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Meshack Lekgwathi came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Skull Breakers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Meshack Lekgwathi couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the game, Rob Maduna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Phillip Mkhize was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rob Maduna scored 2-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Phillip Mkhize, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Johannes Nauseb fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlantis FC's protests and gave Johannes Nauseb a yellow card for diving instead. Dean Nunes made a great header on Atlantis FC's corner, it was just that Skull Breakers's Phillip Mkhize managed to reach the ball for a save. Phillip Mkhize showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rob Maduna, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rob Maduna in the 92nd minute of play forced Skull Breakers's goalkeeper Phillip Mkhize to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
