Spectators: 6265 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 15) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Papi Madima took the kick off in the first half of the match. Eiffel's Mpenza Madiya played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mthunzi Madima in the 2nd minute of play. Mcotsho's Jaak Taelma proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Mcotsho from getting a goal against them. 11 minutes into the match, Mcotsho's goal looked a bit too open when Papi Madima came free, but Jaak Taelma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eiffel's Siphokazi Madiba got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 22 played minutes Mcotsho got a freekick which was hit by Mthunzi Madima. Papi Madima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Jaak Taelma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Takalani Mbule fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaak Taelma having to interfere. Mcotsho's Jaak Taelma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Papi Madima in the 33rd minute of play. A hard shot 36 in the game by Takalani Mbule from a close distance when the talented Jaak Taelma managed to make a qualified save. Mcotsho's players were relieved. Jaak Taelma made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Takalani Mbule sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 83 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mcotsho's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Terence Madiya was slow to take the kick. During this time Eiffel's players had a chance to rest. Terence Madiya made a great header on Eiffel's corner, it was just that Mcotsho's Jaak Taelma managed to reach the ball for a save. Jaak Taelma stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Papi Madima's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. After 85 played minutes Mcotsho got a freekick which was hit by Sipho Nauseb. After 88 minutes of play, Eiffel's Terence Madiya made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jaak Taelma was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Mcotsho's zone, Terence Madiya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaak Taelma came out of the goal and Terence Madiya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Papi Madima received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Jaak Taelma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eiffel's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
