The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Papi Madima might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 石国德. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Papi Madima ran back to his position shaking his head. QwaningA's 石国德 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Takalani Mbule in the 8th minute of play. When Papi Madima came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Eiffel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Papi Madima couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Papi Madima in the 10th minute of play forced QwaningA's goalkeeper 石国德 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Takalani Mbule received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. 石国德 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Patrice Qabi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eiffel's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave QwaningA the free kick. A collision led to Eiffel getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Patrice Qabi hit a great ball. Nazeer Tshabalala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mpenza Madiya having to interfere. Papi Madima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 20 minutes of play, Eiffel's Takalani Mbule made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 石国德 was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Takalani Mbule in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 石国德 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Takalani Mbule came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Eiffel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Takalani Mbule couldn't finish the play. QwaningA's 石国德 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Takalani Mbule in the 36th minute of play. When Johannes Pretorius fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored QwaningA's protests and gave Johannes Pretorius a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to QwaningA getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Johannes Pretorius hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in QwaningA's zone, Takalani Mbule stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 石国德 came out of the goal and Takalani Mbule tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Terence Madiya blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 石国德 having to make a save. 石国德 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takalani Mbule in the 40th minute of play. QwaningA's Ain Undrits managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Takalani Tau in the 43 minute of the game. If Papi Madima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th match minute, Eiffel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ebrahim Miti to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 47 in the game by Nazeer Tshabalala from a close distance when the talented Mpenza Madiya managed to make a qualified save. Eiffel's players were relieved. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Papi Madima to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Eiffel's Papi Madima got a free kick in the 50th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Eiffel's goal looked a bit too open when Nazeer Tshabalala came free, but Mpenza Madiya reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 石国德 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terence Madiya in the 61st minute of play. Vuyo Etafia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mpenza Madiya having to interfere. After some careless play in the QwaningA defense, Terence Madiya kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 石国德. The QwaningA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 石国德 should have stopped the shot. QwaningA's Nazeer Tshabalala got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Patrice Qabi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of QwaningA booed when Eiffel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Papi Madima didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Terence Madiya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mpenza Madiya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johannes Pretorius in the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Papi Madima ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 石国德 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. QwaningA's 石国德 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Takalani Mbule in the 82nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Takalani Mbule could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which 石国德 however easily saved by the left post. If Papi Madima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mpenza Madiya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nazeer Tshabalala in the 96th minute of play. The Eiffel supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Eiffel would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
