In the 20thth minute of the game Louis Hubbard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hotolos's Vuyo Dube was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 22nd minute, Louis Hubbard ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vuyo Dube was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. A collision led to FALCONS getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Vasiliy Dolgolenko hit a great ball. Vasiliy Dolgolenko kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dániel Sinka during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dániel Sinka hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Maurício Tande acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 46th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jafta Okpara.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Legako Macheke was the one to do the kick off. When Jafta Okpara came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Hotolos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jafta Okpara couldn't finish the play. Maurício Tande showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jafta Okpara in the 68th minute of the match. Dániel Sinka struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Vuyo Dube didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FALCONS. After having played for 86 minutes, Dániel Sinka managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FALCONS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dániel Sinka was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Nelson Zwane fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hotolos's protests and gave Nelson Zwane a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of FALCONS booed when Hotolos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelson Zwane didn't get a good kick on the ball. Louis Hubbard struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Vuyo Dube didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FALCONS. Louis Hubbard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vuyo Dube having to interfere. FALCONS succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Hotolos had controlled the match.
