Sizwe Bartlett was a little too slow when Dylan Worrall got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 2nd minute. The score was now 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ryan Newland in the 9th minute of play forced Union Transvaal's goalkeeper Sizwe Bartlett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Union Transvaal's Sizwe Bartlett got control of the ball when Ryan Newland tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sibongile Shoba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thami Klaasens in the 13th minute of play. Sizwe Bartlett came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Sandhurst Boerboels's Dylan Worrall. But to his dismay, Dylan Worrall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 21 minutes into the match, Thami Klaasens notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Sandhurst Boerboels's Sibongile Shoba. Sibongile Shoba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 24 played minutes Sandhurst Boerboels got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Kemal El Abidine Ben Ali. Sizwe Bartlett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryan Newland in the 27th minute of the match. If Dylan Worrall had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dylan Worrall received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Sizwe Bartlett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 played minutes Sandhurst Boerboels got a freekick which was hit by Michael Bailey. Union Transvaal's Maxwell Mbule collided with an opponent after 43 minutes. The hit was so violent that he fractured his nose and had to leave the field. Mustafa Kemal El Abidine Ben Ali charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mustafa Kemal El Abidine Ben Ali the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Thami Klaasens was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Sandhurst Boerboels's goal looked a bit too open when Thami Klaasens came free, but Sibongile Shoba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Union Transvaal's Vuyo Koen got a free kick in the 58th minute. Tristan Thaier's late challenge caught a Sandhurst Boerboels's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tristan Thaier helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Union Transvaal getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Tristan Thaier hit a great ball. 63 minutes into the match, Sandhurst Boerboels's goalkeeper Sibongile Shoba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tristan Thaier. If Golo Gol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sandhurst Boerboels booed when Union Transvaal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edries Mkhonza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sizwe Bartlett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryan Newland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sibongile Shoba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sipho Tau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edries Mkhonza hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Sizwe Bartlett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavi Sarria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute, Ryan Newland made a precise shot to the right of Sizwe Bartlett. Union Transvaal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Sizwe Bartlett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryan Newland in the 96th minute of play.
