Spectators: 10125 (Terracing: 7650, Seating: 2300, VIP seats: 175) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Jomo Phakathi kicked off to start the match. Theuns's Nils-Emil Hermansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Maduna in the 6th minute of play. Nils-Emil Hermansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thami Miti in the 8th minute of the match. Nils-Emil Hermansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Maduna, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 13th minute Rob Khomane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Promise Lekgwathi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Promise Lekgwathi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rob Khomane, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Lucas Maduna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Nils-Emil Hermansson made a huge save. Nils-Emil Hermansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thami Miti in the 27th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Madolo Kubheka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A nice corner shot did that Boyisana Machete got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nils-Emil Hermansson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Theuns's Nicholas Mangope got a free kick in the 79th minute. A collision led to Theuns getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Rafael Madima hit a great ball. Boyisana Machete recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute, Lucas Maduna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gqeberha All Stars fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Gqeberha All Stars were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Theuns for a fine match.
