In the 2nd minute, Rob Sephiri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maiorga Trevijano in the 6th minute of play forced FC Johannesburg's goalkeeper Árpád Mészáros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Enock Fortuin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Johannesburg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Huracán the free kick. A collision led to FC Johannesburg getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Enock Fortuin hit a great ball. Hanile Kekana was extremely unlucky when he, in the 15th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 18th minute, Rob Sephiri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cesaire Sherwood showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rob Sephiri in the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silas Collins in the 23rd minute of play forced Club Atlético Huracán's goalkeeper Cesaire Sherwood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maiorga Trevijano in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Árpád Mészáros saved FC Johannesburg from getting behind. Árpád Mészáros made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Maiorga Trevijano sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maiorga Trevijano got free with Árpád Mészáros in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the match, FC Johannesburg's goalkeeper Árpád Mészáros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maiorga Trevijano. With a little luck, FC Johannesburg's Árpád Mészáros got control of the ball when Maiorga Trevijano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 47th minute Maiorga Trevijano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Árpád Mészáros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rob Sephiri to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Huracán's Maiorga Trevijano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Árpád Mészáros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maiorga Trevijano in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Árpád Mészáros saved FC Johannesburg from getting behind. Club Atlético Huracán's Cesaire Sherwood proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Huracán from getting a goal against them. Maiorga Trevijano might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Árpád Mészáros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maiorga Trevijano ran back to his position shaking his head. Club Atlético Huracán made a substitution. Steve Wanani replaced Akil Manyethela. FC Johannesburg's Brandon Liau was substituted for Godfrey Pretorius. Árpád Mészáros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteban Eleazar in the 69th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Hanile Kekana got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cesaire Sherwood came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Johannesburg's Silas Collins. But to his dismay, Silas Collins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Zane Blumenthal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cesaire Sherwood read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Steve Wanani kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Maiorga Trevijano in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Árpád Mészáros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee ended the match the Club Atlético Huracán players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
