With an all-out effort, Sandhurst Boerboels's Promise Lekgwathi threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dylan Worrall, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee felt a red card was in order, 100 minutes into the game, when Eddy Lydiate put in a rough tackle. After 99 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sandhurst Boerboels! When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sandhurst Boerboels had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
