After a defensive mix-up in Mzumbane's zone, Arkadiusz Wnukowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Freddie Mhlathe came out of the goal and Arkadiusz Wnukowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Freddie Mhlathe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Löfgren in the 21st minute of play. Freddie Mhlathe was a little too slow when Jânio Motta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 5-0. Seto Bastari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddie Mhlathe having to interfere. 31 minutes into the game, Jânio Motta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Freddie Mhlathe. Jânio Motta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. If Arkadiusz Wnukowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. In the 37th minute, Ruperto Gonza made a precise shot to the right of Freddie Mhlathe. Mzumbane's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. In the 41st match minute, Mzumbane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jafta Tshabalala to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes into the game, Ruperto Gonza recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Freddie Mhlathe. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 9-0 at half-time.

When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Jânio Motta sped through Mzumbane's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Freddie Mhlathe. Mzumbane's Freddie Mhlathe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jânio Motta in the 70th minute of play. Freddie Mhlathe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jânio Motta in the 78th minute of the match. Lucky Serage hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Arkadiusz Wnukowski took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Freddie Mhlathe. Freddie Mhlathe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 16-0. In the 84th minute, Arkadiusz Wnukowski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Freddie Mhlathe was frozen by the shot and now it was 17-0. After a rather tough play, Mzumbane's Jafta Tshabalala got a free kick in the 88th minute. Ruperto Gonza scored 18-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Freddie Mhlathe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 95 minutes into the match, Joel Löfgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Freddie Mhlathe. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Golden Arrows had played much better football throughout.
