In the 86thth minute of the game Thami Klaasens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Springbok's Ivan Mangope was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 11-0 when Thami Klaasens sped through Springbok's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ivan Mangope. Ivan Mangope stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thami Klaasens's shot from short distance in the 96th minute.
