Hoadley Fredericks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thabile Arendse charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Thabile Arendse the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th minute, Thabile Arendse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nils-Emil Hermansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mustafa Kemal El Abidine Ben Ali in the 9th minute. Eddy Lydiate charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eddy Lydiate the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th match minute, Sandhurst Boerboels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddy Lydiate to maneuver through the defense. Rob Khomane struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Sibongile Shoba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Theuns. Nils-Emil Hermansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ryan Newland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Sandhurst Boerboels's Dylan Worrall got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 18th minute Rob Khomane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sibongile Shoba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sibongile Shoba came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Theuns's Rob Khomane. But to his dismay, Rob Khomane quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Nils-Emil Hermansson made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Dylan Worrall sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute, Theuns's Rafael Madima seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Rafael Madima the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Theuns protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Rafael Madima had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 32nd minute of the game, Sandhurst Boerboels got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Sibongile Shoba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rob Khomane in the 35th minute of play. Xavi Sarria's late challenge caught a Theuns's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Xavi Sarria helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th match minute, Sandhurst Boerboels was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xavi Sarria to maneuver through the defense. Nils-Emil Hermansson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryan Newland in the 39th minute of the match. Dylan Worrall recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Michael Bailey hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Rob Khomane struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Sibongile Shoba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Theuns. In the 45th minute of the match Joseph Inguana sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sibongile Shoba skillfully saved the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Theuns's goalkeeper Nils-Emil Hermansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mustafa Kemal El Abidine Ben Ali. Sibongile Shoba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rob Khomane in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Sandhurst Boerboels's Golo Gol was substituted for Mustafa Kemal El Abidine Ben Ali. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ryan Newland stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Theuns's Nils-Emil Hermansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Golo Gol in the 54th minute of play. After 55 played minutes Theuns got a freekick which was hit by Thabile Arendse. Golo Gol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Emil Hermansson having to interfere. Nils-Emil Hermansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Golo Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeff Jennings kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Sandhurst Boerboels's Sibongile Shoba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Madolo Kubheka in the 61st minute of play. In the 64th minute Ryan Newland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Emil Hermansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Golo Gol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sandhurst Boerboels's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Theuns the free kick. Theuns's Hlamane Thabang was substituted for Solly Thebile. Golo Gol hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Sandhurst Boerboels's goal looked a bit too open when Rob Khomane came free, but Sibongile Shoba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nils-Emil Hermansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryan Newland, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. After some careless play in the Theuns defense, Golo Gol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nils-Emil Hermansson. The Theuns fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nils-Emil Hermansson should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dylan Worrall in the 76th minute of play forced Theuns's goalkeeper Nils-Emil Hermansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rob Khomane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sibongile Shoba came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Theuns's Rob Khomane. But to his dismay, Rob Khomane quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 91st minute Rob Khomane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sibongile Shoba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xavi Sarria kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind Theuns's goalkeeper Nils-Emil Hermansson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
