Spectators: 10125 (Terracing: 7650, Seating: 2300, VIP seats: 175) Jomo Phakathi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jomo Phakathi got free with Meshack Tshabalala in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jomo Phakathi came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Meshack Tshabalala could save by the left post. After 11 minutes, Jomo Phakathi made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Maluleke FC's Meshack Tshabalala tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gary Ntsume's late challenge caught a Gqeberha All Stars's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gary Ntsume helped the player get up and apologised. Gary Ntsume kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Meshack Tshabalala was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Jomo Phakathi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jomo Phakathi really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Jomo Phakathi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 23 minutes into the match, Lucas Maduna notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Maluleke FC's Meshack Tshabalala. Meshack Tshabalala was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Meshack Tshabalala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thabile Nauseb in the 27th minute of play. If Thabile Nauseb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jomo Phakathi in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Meshack Tshabalala, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Lesego Bandura hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Thabile Nauseb might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Meshack Tshabalala. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thabile Nauseb ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Jomo Phakathi put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Meshack Tshabalala. If Jomo Phakathi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Thabo Mathibe made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Thabile Nauseb had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Meshack Tshabalala. Maluleke FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thabile Nauseb was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. The Gqeberha All Stars fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Gqeberha All Stars's Jomo Phakathi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Meshack Tshabalala didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jomo Phakathi went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. 64 minutes into the match, Thabile Nauseb had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Meshack Tshabalala. Maluleke FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thabile Nauseb was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. In the 67thth minute of the game Jomo Phakathi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maluleke FC's Meshack Tshabalala was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lucas Maduna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Meshack Tshabalala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 minutes, Jomo Phakathi made it 13-0 with a short kick to the right side. Maluleke FC's Meshack Tshabalala tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Maluleke FC's Meshack Tshabalala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jomo Phakathi in the 93rd minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Gqeberha All Stars players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
